G-M Care Clinic to hold grand opening celebration Friday
The Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic will host its grand opening celebration from 2-4 p.m. Friday at its new facility in the Gloucester Business Park, White Marsh. The event is open to the public and those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP by e-mailing email@example.com.
The clinic slowly began transitioning into the new facility in March, first from its administrative office facility, which was formerly located on Business Route 17 near Gloucester Court House, and later from its clinical offices at Hayes.
The new facility, which has just over 9,000 square feet, includes a spacious waiting area for patients with cushioned chairs and a television. It also includes separate patient screening areas, a room with equipment for rehabilitation services, dental care equipment and more. A full pharmacy is also part of the new complex.
GMCC spokesperson Babs Zuhowski said Friday’s grand opening celebration will begin with a short, formal ceremony at 2 o’clock, followed by refreshments and tours of the facility.
She added that Gov. Terry McAuliffe was invited to attend, but cannot make it. However, a proclamation from the governor, recognizing the clinic, will be read during the event.
