The Gloucester Institute held a three-day “Elements of Style” workshop for participants in its Emerging Leaders program this past weekend at the Moton Center in Cappahosic. The workshop was designed to help students in the program develop and polish their writing skills as they construct a professional persuasive essay, said C.J. Sailor of the institute. A panel of judges will evaluate the final submissions, and the student with the highest score will receive a $500 cash prize.
