Approximately 75 children took part in Saturday’s morning’s Easter egg hunt on the Mathews Court Green. Sponsored by the Mathews Main Street Committee, the event was organized by Dee Bane of Lovejoy’s Antiques and Karyn Austin at Dilly Dally Emporium. Members of the Mathews High School Beta Club stuffed the eggs. Here, 20-month-old Christian Ange nearly filled his bucket Saturday morning with Easter eggs, with the help of April Loomis.
