Gwynn’s Island resident Bonnie Charles wanted to do something special with a tractor shed on her property that faces the road, so she asked Theresa Stewart, Mathews artist and florist, to paint an American flag on the building. Charles herself painted the blue background. She said the United States is "all about freedom" and she wants to do her part to protect and preserve that freedom for her grandchildren.
