Chemicals, computers and more accepted at Mathews collection Saturday

Mathews residents and property owners will have an opportunity on Saturday to clean out their kitchen and bath cabinets, sheds, garages and attics. Household chemicals, old computers and electronics will be accepted at a collection to be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Mathews High School.
The collection, sponsored by Mathews County and the Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority, will provide an outlet for materials not normally accepted at the Mathews Transfer Station.
