A Mathews County farmhouse, in need of some tender, loving care, will get a complete makeover on the DIY Network’s interactive Blog Cabin series next year.

The 1905 structure, which will be completely renovated over the course of the year, is located in Susan directly on the Mobjack Bay, and has been owned by the Tatterson family for generations.

Who’ll be living there once renovations are complete is anyone’s guess. Blog Cabin will hold an online sweepstakes, with one lucky viewer winning the house that sits on 16 waterfront acres.

Daria Linsinbigler, real estate agent with Morgan & Edwards in Mathews, was the listing agent who helped the television network choose the location for the upcoming show. "I’ve been working with DIY since February looking up and down the coast at houses," Linsinbigler said. "I showed them many, many listings and this one they described as perfect."
