The African American preacher was one of seven invited keynote speakers at last weekend’s 2010 Virginia Tea Party Patriots Convention. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he also studied theology at Harvard Divinity School. He was licensed to preach by Ebenezer Baptist Church, Boston, and is the spiritual leader of Exodus Faith Ministries.

Jackson and his wife are founders of the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Breakfast, which brings together hundreds of people from the Chesapeake area to celebrate the life and ideals of the slain civil rights leader. He was also an outspoken opponent of the extension of federal hate crimes legislation to include homosexuals.

Jackson recently launched a national grassroots organization of the Judeo-Christian history and values called STAND (Staying True to America’s National Destiny).

The event is sponsored by Peninsula Patriots free of charge and is not affiliated with the Lighthouse Worship Center.
