Alleged threats at GHS determined to be false
The Gloucester Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the school administration, has determined that the recent alleged threats at Gloucester High School were false. The threats caused increased security be implemented at the school Tuesday.
Darrell Warren, chief deputy with the GSO, said it has been determined that two students were the source of the rumor and at no time were students or staff in danger. "We appreciate the outpouring of calls from concerned parents and students, which contributed to the successful resolution," Warren said.
