Ware Episcopal Church, Gloucester, held its annual "Blessing of the Animals" Sunday morning on the front lawn of the parish hall. A wide range of animals were brought in to receive blessings, including feathered creatures, cats, dogs, a horse and more. Here, "Sticks" the horse receives a blessing from Ware Episcopal Church’s rector, Peter Worthington, while owner Robin Kalbrener looks on. The service included hymns, prayer and scripture reading.
