Gloucester resident Dennis Bunting used two Percherons to cut this hayfield near Ebenezer Baptist Church in Harcumon Friday morning. The well-muscled breed of draft horse is known for its intelligence and willingness to work. Bunting exercises the horses by cutting hay on this property and plowing his garden. The Buntings also use the Percherons for old-fashioned carriage rides. Most of the time, however, the horses are family pets. Photo by Quinton Sheppard
