A late winter blast

Giant snowflakes started falling about 5 p.m. Monday, continuing for several hours as winter leveled a late blast against this area. Emmaus Baptist Church at North provided a peaceful background for the storm. Tuesday dawned clear and cold, but most of the night’s accumulation had disappeared. Winter has one week to run as Tuesday is the first day of spring.
