Sen. Warner to visit Mathews

U.S. Sen. Mark Warner (D-Virginia) will be making a stop in Mathews County at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 9, at Thomas Hunter Middle School, according to school board chairman Jen Little.
The focus of the visit will be on education, with an update on current happenings in Washington, D.C., Little said, adding that plenty of seats will be available.
