The Mathews Maritime Foundation premiered a new website at a meeting Monday at Mathews Memorial Library.

Mathews residents found out a bit more last week about a Community Development Block Grant the county’s Department of Planning and Zoning wants to pursue for the Court House area.
The plan will go before the board of supervisors next week.
Two applications for construction that will impact wetlands were approved by the Mathews Wetlands Board on Oct. 6.
The Mathews County Planning Commission will consider whether to recommend adoption of the draft Comprehensive Plan 2030 at a 7 p.m. meeting on Tuesday, in the historic courthouse on Court Street.
