Recipes from the Piankatank Community League Chili Cook-Off

2 cans Campbell’s Chunky Chili Soup

1 lb. ground beef

1 onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

1 Tbs. butter

1 lg. can of tomatoes

1 soup can of water

4-5 shakes of garlic salt

1¼ Tbs. chili powder

Cook soup, water, chili powder and garlic salt for 30 min.  Brown ground beef and drain. Sauté onion and green pepper in butter ’til tender. Mix all ingredients together and cook for 30 minutes.
