Historical Society
January 27 2013, 2:00 PMThe Gloucester Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, in the Abingdon Episcopal Church Parish House. Guest speaker will be Henry C. Spaulding Jr., a board member emeritus of Hampden-Sydney College and past board member of several organizations including the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Westminster-Canterbury Foundation (Richmond) and the Rosewell Foundation. He is also the author of "Crab Nets and Sunrises," a book about Clay Bank and his life in Gloucester. For more information call Frances Borden at 642-4455.
