Blood Drive
December 04 2012, 2:00 PMThe next Mathews Community Blood Drive will be held from 2-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Piankatank Ruritan Club, Hudgins. The event is sponsored by American Legion Post 83 and its Auxiliary. As a result of Hurricane Sandy and the devastation along the East Coast, blood supplies are critically low, according to Red Cross volunteer Janice Phillips.
