Woman’s Club

Central Village Homemakers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall of Central United Methodist Church, Mathews.

County Board

November 07 2012, 7:00 PM

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the colonial courthouse.

Music Group

November 08 2012, 10:30 AM

The Mathews Music Appreciation Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. next Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Mathews Active Lifestyle Center. Robin Powell, organist at Westville Christian Church, will present the program. The public is invited to attend.

November 16 2012, 2:00 PM

Cricket Hill Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the home of Avril Kalinich. A program titled "York Maritime History" will be presented by David Niebuhr, executive director of the Watermen’s Museum. Also, donated items for packages to be sent to active duty servicemen and women will be collected.
