How to Place a Classified Ad
The classified ad rate is $9.00 for 25 words or less for one week and $6 for each additional week specified at time of placement. For ads with more than 25 words the charge is 40 cents per word per week. No refunds. Classified ads are run as submitted and they are assumed to be correct upon publication. Classified ads must be received by 12 noon Tuesday the week of publication. Ads placed online must be prepaid.
Gazette-Journal Classified Ads reach more people in Gloucester, Gloucester Point and Mathews each week than those of any other publication sold in the two counties.
To place a classified ad:
- Online: Order your classified ad online.
- In Person: Visit the Gloucester, Gloucester Point or Mathews office by 12 noon Tuesday the week of the publication.
- By Phone: Call 693-3101 (Gloucester), 642-2191 (Gloucester Point), or 725-2191 (Mathews)
