Sears Hometown Store relocated in early March from Edgehill Shopping Center to the Shoppes at Gloucester south of the village.

Owner Jim Brinn said the new store has 12,000 square feet, including a 9,000-square-foot showroom and 3,000 square feet for receiving new items. With the additional space, Brinn said he now stocks more bedding and mattresses, and extra lawn and garden equipment.

The larger store soon will also be carrying more washers and dryers and extra fitness equipment, such as elliptical machines and treadmills.
