Tidewater Physical Therapy, Inc. moved into its new Gloucester Court House office space last weekend and opened to the public on Monday. Area residents are invited to attend an open house there from noon-2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, with tours of the facility and light refreshments.
Regional director Natalie Conway, who also is clinical director for the Gloucester facility, said the new facility is just across the parking lot from the former building off Fox Hunt Lane and has 4,000 square feet, almost twice the amount of space that it had in its old quarters.
The larger space has more treatment rooms and more physical therapists to provide services. New members of the center staff are Erin Jasenak and Carmen Mulharin, both holding doctor of physical therapy certification, and Mary Snavely, a physical therapist assistant.
There are five therapists at the new office, four technicians and three front office staff. Three therapists manned the old clinic.
Adjoining the clinic will be a performance center with 4,000 square feet, something the former building did not include.
