Urbanna Harbor Gallery & Art Services opened recently on Virginia Street, Urbanna.

Barbara M. Hartley, who owns the business with her husband Cloyde Wiley III, said they held a grand opening for the gallery in mid-May and opened the antique mall in the rear of the 5,000-square-foot building in early June.

In the front gallery, Hartley said they change featured art exhibits every two months, each featuring two or three regional artists. She said the gallery tries to showcase both two- and three-dimensional artists, including painters and potters.

In the rear, Hartley said they lease space for vendors to sell items in the antique mall. She and Wiley feature some of their own artwork and photography in a rear space.

Wiley said he and his wife also run a frame shop in the same building.
