Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Gloucester Point will hold a grand opening from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday to celebrate Gloucester Point Family Campground joining the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort family.

Campground spokesperson Eileen Gedicke said the Gloucester Point campground will feature its Yogi Bear’s Water Zone, which consists of six spray features and two 70-foot slides that are in addition to the facility’s adult and children’s pools. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for the facility.

The day pass fee is being waived for the celebration, Gedicke said. However, the campground will be accepting donations for the American Red Cross to benefit the local recent tornado victims. Discounts will be available for day passes, overnight camping, and seasonal sites for the 2011 season, she added.
