The Gloucester County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the colonial courthouse regarding an application seeking permission to establish a home occupation for internet-based, retail sale of firearms.
Joseph A. Celia, applicant, has sought a special exception to allow such use at his property located at 8366 Broad Marsh Lane, which lies in the York Magisterial District and is zoned Bayside Conservation (C-2). Joseph A. Celia and Durfee S. Betts were listed as owners of the property on the application.
Celia said in his application that he plans to trade as Isidore LLC, selling firearms to individual customers in small quantities via internet-based retail facilities. The business does not sell ammunition, he said, nor does it operate a retail storefront or have any regular customer traffic to that location.
