What began as a vintage furniture rental shop last April recently expanded into a tea room operation.
Daffodil Vintage on Main is owned by Sherri B. Clark of Glenns and her mother Renee Benton of Bena. They opened their enlarged location in the former Wild Rabbit Café space on Main Street in Gloucester on Dec. 4.
Previously, the business was located in 800 square feet adjacent to their new location and they now use that space as well as about 2,200 square feet in the tea room.
Clark said they offer tea service with a seasonal selection of sandwiches, savories, petite desserts and fruit.
Also, the 45-seat restaurant serves breakfast (with egg and French toast casseroles popular) and lunch with a selection of sandwiches (roast turkey, tuna salad, sliced corned beef and others), salads and soups including the signature roasted red pepper with smoked gouda cheese. There’s also an espresso bar.
