Plans being developed for Fox Mill Center
Plans are in the works for a new section of development at Fox Mill Center in Gloucester.
Chris Rouzie, senior vice president of Cushman & Wakefield/Thalhimer, a commercial real estate company which represents property owner Bob Kubicki, said Friday that no leases have been signed yet for the new section of retail stores to be located on the southwest corner of Main Street and Route 17 in a large wooded area behind Ruby Tuesday restaurant heading back toward Walmart.
Rouzie said he expects the new section, when built, will have 100,000 square feet or more. However, the exact size will depend on the tenants that sign leases, he said. No timeframe was announced for the new stores to open.
Rouzie said that Kubicki, who now resides in Illinois but lived in Gloucester for many years, wants to have at least one store of 20,000-30,000 square feet before proceeding with the new section. Depending on what tenants are lined up, Rouzie said, the center could gain several 20,000-30,000-square-foot stores, plus possibly some smaller shops, there.
