New owner expands inventory at Bridal Boutique

Sherry Hamilton | Posted on Nov 14, 2012 - 11:47 AM Printer Friendly View

The Bridal Boutique at White Marsh, now under the ownership of Angela Payne of North, and her mom, Linda Jones of Newport News, has new inventory.

New wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom and homecoming dresses, cruise and party dresses, and evening gowns are all currently in stock. Sizes range from 0 to 32, and made-to-order sashes are available in any color. Also on hand are accessories such as veils, tiaras, bird cages, shrugs and shawls, gloves, garter belts and intimate wear, along with a wider assortment of shoes and jewelry.

Many of the new dresses are knee length, said Payne, and she regularly stocks larger sizes.

Payne said her wedding gowns can be sold off the rack, if necessary, with alterations provided and a 90-day layaway plan available. All dresses are steamed and checked for secure beading and hems before they go out of the store, she said, so if a bride needs to wear it that very day, she can.

Tuxedo rentals are available through the store’s arrangement with Jim’s Formal Wear of Richmond, said Payne, with delivery a week from the date of measurement.
