New administrator named at Walter Reed

Bill Nachman | Posted on Oct 27, 2010 - 01:21 PM Printer Friendly View

Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester has named Megan K. Moore as its new vice president and administrator. Moore officially began in her new full-time post on Monday, and heads a staff of approximately 320 employees.

"I am looking forward to continuing with plans that are already in place to expand the access and convenience of Riverside’s services to residents of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck," Moore said. "Riverside Walter Reed has a long and distinguished history of serving this community and I’m excited to now be a part of continuing in that tradition."

Moore replaces Liz Martin, who was administrator for almost two years at both Walter Reed and Riverside Tappahannock hospitals, and who has returned as full-time head of the Tappahannock hospital where she was assigned prior to the joint hospital administration plan.
