Home and fashion store to hold grand opening Saturday

Favorite Finds will hold its grand opening from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at The Shoppes on Hickory Fork (formerly Balloon Port), 6661 Hickory Fork Road, White Marsh. Refreshments and product discounts are planned.
Debra Plato of Gloucester, owns the business with her brother, Bill Turner, also of Gloucester. This is the first time they have owned a business together.
Turner said they will operate the store full-time. Favorite Finds will feature quality home décor, fashion accessories and more. The store will sell both new and used items, he said, with items constantly rotating. There will be artwork, pictures, furniture, jewelry and many other items for sale, he said, as well as clothing, compact disc players, rice cookers and other items. Turner said he prides himself on selling items that he has cleaned and got in perfect working order.
