Gloucester’s Chick-fil-A adds catering services
The Chick-fil-A restaurant at Fox Mill Center, Gloucester, recently started a catering business and also has added some new products, owner John Gordon said.
Nancee Mann of Gloucester has been promoted to director of catering, Gordon announced. Previously she served as one of the shift managers at the store since it opened in January 2011.
Chick-fil-A’s catering component includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the short time since the catering began here, Gordon said, the restaurant has served more than 200 people at a Gloucester Relay for Life Survivors Dinner and more than 250 meals for a Severn Woman’s Club event.
Mann and her catering crew deliver the food—prepared in the store’s kitchen—to the event location, which might be a birthday party, graduation celebration or an office. If so contracted, the crew can serve the meal, bring all food, condiments and even plastic utensils and napkins. Gordon said they can handle catering for events up to 500 people.
