Canon U.S.A., Inc., announced it has changed the name of the entity that supports the company’s toner cartridge recycling program from Industrial Resource Technologies (IRT) to Canon Environmental Technologies, Inc. (CETI).
CETI has a toner cartridge recycling plant at the Gloucester Business Park at White Marsh, said corporate spokesperson Rhonda Bunn.
Under the new name, Bunn said, the mission of the program remains the same. She said that CETI will continue its strong commitment to the environment, including carrying out its mission not only to increase Canon’s product recycling efforts, but also to foster a recycling-oriented society, reduce Canon’s environmental impact through greater management efficiency, and embrace green technologies.
