Auto Source of Gloucester opened for business on Jan. 3 on George Washington Memorial Highway south of Gloucester Court House.

Owners Gus Panos of Ware Neck, and Bob Jobson of Poquoson, said their automotive business buys, sells and trades good condition previously driven cars, light trucks and sport utility vehicles.

In the first couple weeks in business, Panos said they have seen a lot of people coming in to sell their vehicles, possibly linked to the sluggish economy.

Jobson said they try to keep a large selection of vehicles in stock, using various sources to procure vehicles. If you don’t see what you want on their lot, Panos said, they will try to find a vehicle to meet your specifications.
