A reception is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Warner Hall to mark the special occasion.
Jose Portal offers eye exams, as well as some surgical procedures of the eyelid and cornea.
Approximately 15-20 local businesses are expected to participate.
Food Lion supermarkets at York River Crossing Shopping Center, Hayes, and at Walter Reed Plaza, Gloucester Court House, held grand re-opening ceremonies last Wednesday. Both stores have been remodeled with new fixtures and the stores are promoting some lower prices, a spokesman said, with the first 200 persons to visit each store March 28 receiving a free bag of groceries.
